Лицо, уполномоченное спонсором или контрактной исследовательской организацией действовать от имени спонсора и которое мониторирует участвующие в клиническом испытании клинические базы. В зависимости от возлагаемых обязанностей и опыта мониторы могут выполнять обязанности старшего по группе, мониторирующей испытание, или ассистента монитора. В некоторых, преимущественно академических, учреждениях координаторы клинических исследований называются CRA (см. также
